Freestyle concept Autumn camp 2008

Don’t wait for the winter to kick off, Freestyle concept is organising a 2 week camp in Les Diablerets (CH) with an amazing snowpark and it’s only for us……

We are offering a selection of top UK and European coaches such as Seb Kern and Mike Austin……to help you to tone your skills and get ready for the winter.(Girls are more than welcome)

Get an amazing pre-season experience. You will be riding a perfect empty park surrounded by huge pro- riders. You will stay in a fully loaded chalet (bar, sauna, skate mini ramp…).The kick ass party weekend will start on Thursday 30^th Oct with a selection of 1^st class DJ’s and MC’s from the UK and events will climax on the Sat 1^st of November with The Battle on Glacier 3000 (2^nd edition):

European Snowboard competition, slopestyle jam session.

Men and women, under 16 boys and girls will compete to win:

-1000CHF for the 1^st place Male/Female

To conclude the day: prize giving at the chalet and massive party at the local club.

Week 1: 25^th October till 1^st or 2^nd of November.

Week 2: 1^st of November till 8^th or 9^th of November.

The Kick ass party week end: from 30^th of October till 2^nd of November.

The Battle on Glacier 3000 (2^nd edition): Sat 1^st of November.

“I wanted to send you some pics from this past weekend. Creature skateboards put up an old school vert ramp out in Ramona, CA and held a backyard-BBQ-style vert invitational contest/car show. I went out there to represent for all the ladies (since I was the only girl skating) and got to skate in a 5 hr session with some of the biggest legends in skateboarding..Chistian Hosoi, Jeff Grosso, Wade Speyer, Peter Hewitt, Jake Brown, Omar Hassan, the list goes on and on.. it was my ten year old self’s dream come true! One of the most memorable skate sessions ever to go down in the books for me… it pretty much summed up what skating is all about. “

Nikita skate team rider Anja Reiner sent some photos of her recent weeekend in Barcelona.  She went to the Extreme Sports Festival, with all kinds of different sports like Skateboarding, Snowboarding, Motorcross, Wakeboarding, BMX, Inline Skate and more.. She had a lot of fun checking that out. She went there with the girls and spent the day looking around and having a good time… “we surely skated the Park as well!  I also brought some of the Nikita stickers to put on the ramps or everywhere else I thought it looked fun..:-) “

My next trip will be to Florianopolis, where I’ll be staying for 2 months to surf!  Floripa has great waves and I hope to improve my surf skills! Maldives and Indonesia maybe next year… I have been dreaming about it for sooooooo long!
